Kushi is released on 27 April 2001 and was directed by S.J. Suryah. Pawan Kalyan, Bhoomika Chawla and Sivaji paired up for the first time in this film.The movie broke all the records of a previous film and is one of the most successful film of Pawan Kalyan. Manisharma composed the soundtrack of the film.
The film had a 50 days run in 101 centres,100 days run in 79 centres and a 175-day run in five centres.
